How to book?

To book a session, please contact me via email at alinezanellaphotography@gmail.com, leave me a message here, or reach out on my Instagram account.

How far in advance should I book?

I highly recommend booking at least one month in advance so we have enough time to plan your session.

Maternity sessions – The ideal time for your session is between 28 and 35 weeks of pregnancy.

Newborn sessions – To capture those delicate newborn details, the best time for a session is within the first month. I suggest booking before your baby arrives to ensure availability.

How should I prepare?

Once you have paid the deposit, I will send you a questionnaire, a contract and a guide on how to prepare for your session. We will also chat about any questions you may have.

When and where will my session taking place?

If you book a newborn session in advance, we will schedule a date based on your due date. Once your baby is born, we will confirm or adjust the date if needed.

Newborn sessions – Typically held in the comfort of your home, but I also offer outdoor newborn sessions.

Maternity & family sessions – Usually held outdoors in carefully chosen locations to achieve the best results. We can also have the session at your home for a more intimate feel or in a studio space for a different vibe.

Outdoor sessions – Scheduled just before sunset for the best lighting.

In-home or studio sessions – Available between 8 AM and 3 PM.

If there is a special place for your family and you would like to have your session there, please let me know in advance so we can discuss the details.

Who can attend the session?

My sessions are designed for immediate family only (up to 6 people), including pets! If you’d like to add more people, there is an additional charge of $100.

What if it rains or is windy?

If it’s light rain, we will continue as planned. If there is heavy rain, we will reschedule.

If wind speeds exceed 30 km/h, I may suggest rescheduling, especially for beach sessions. However, if you don’t mind the wind-blown look, we can go ahead! :)

When will I receive my images?

My gallery turnaround time is approximately 3 to 6 weeks.

What should I wear?

Don't worry! After booking, you’ll receive an email with detailed outfit guidance, including tips on colours, styling, and inspiration. I will help you throughout the process to choose the best options for your session.

I also have a few wardrobe pieces available for mamas to be, mums, newborns and babies, which you are welcome to use.

Will I receive both colour and black white images?

Your gallery will include a mix of color and black & white images, depending on what works best for each particular photo. If you prefer all color images, please let me know in advance.

Will you retouch my images?

Absolutely! All images are carefully edited in my signature style. I pay close attention to detail and will professionally retouch each image to ensure the best quality.

How does payment work?

A $200 non-refundable booking fee is required via bank transfer within 24 hours of booking to secure your session date. This covers my time for booking, session preparation, travel within 30 minutes of Nollamara, and the session itself.

The remaining balance is due one day before your session via bank transfer.

All booking fees and session payments are non-transferable and non-refundable.
